The Sparks and Brownies have loads of cookies to sell as we are fundraising for our upcoming June Camp and Challenge Day. Get yours soon as they are going fast! The Brownies will be encouraged to sleep in tents at camp and some are pretty determined to do so. They have learned to do their bedrolls and soon they will learn how to take care of a tent. They will be great role models for the Sparks at camp. Our theme is the Carnival. Popcorn and cotton candy and hotdogs will be making an appearance along with lots of fun games.
Challenge Day will find us all over the city—at the library, on the bus, at the mall, and on the ferry to Halifax, while we complete all kinds of neat crests for our blankets.
We are now planning our sleepover. Harry Potter and Mary Poppins crests will be earned at the sleepover and we are extra excited about that. Life is certainly better with “a spoonful of sugar!”
